Janna Ciabattari joined the Private Bank in 2019 and serves as the primary point of contact for client relationships by providing guidance and support for their overall wealth management needs. Her main objectives are to listen to clients, help identify their needs, and coordinate strategies among the team. Janna is responsible for assisting clients navigate the extensive resources of the Private Bank for investment management, strategic banking and credit services.

Janna brings over 10 years of proven financial advisory and sales leadership experience to her role. She has a deep understanding of building the business as a strong client manager and leader. Janna began her career in 2009, first as an intern in the Silicon Valley with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management and transitioned into a Financial Advisor. She then joined Merrill Edge in 2012 where she served as a Financial Solutions Advisor. Janna was promoted to management as a Market Leader in 2014, becoming a Regulatory Supervisor in the Consumer Banking and Merrill Edge Division. She helped execute the Preferred Strategy for our mass affluent clients in the Bay Area leading over 50 Financial Solutions Advisors, Relationship Managers, and Banking Team Financial Advisors. She worked closely with her team to deliver leading performance  through deepening relationships and providing an exceptional client experience.   

She holds a Masters of Business Administration and a B.S. in Finance from Santa Clara University. Janna is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) certificant, a designation awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. She also has the FINRA Series 7, 9, 10 & 66 registrations as well as the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ (CRPC®) designation. Janna is an active member in the Bay Area Chapter of LEAD for Women and assists as an East Bay liaison. Janna has served in various leadership roles including: Market President Leader Program, Northwest Employee Engagement and Inclusion Council, Silicon Valley Associate Leadership Council, Seminar Champion, New Hire Peer Coach, and Bank of America Community Volunteer Liaison. 

Janna is a passionate advocate in her community. She actively participates in fighting hunger as a volunteer with the Contra Costa Food Bank and provides financial literacy through Junior Achievement. She resides in Walnut Creek with her husband and enjoys maintaining an active lifestyle running and playing soccer.
