Adam Hartwigh is a Senior Vice President and Market Leader for Metro New York with Bank of America Private Bank in New York, New York. Adam leads a diverse and talented team of Private Client Advisors and Managers, supporting them in delivering a highly customized and impactful client experience. He draws on more than two decades at the firm, allowing him to pinpoint capabilities and draw on an extensive network of contacts, enterprise wide. Passionate in his desire to mentor and develop preeminent talent, Adam cultivates an environment that values the distinctive contributions of each individual. He grounds his leadership in an authentic commitment to clients and their well-being, striving to contribute to their lives and legacies in meaningful ways.
In his role as Market Leader, Adam advances clear communication about strategic initiatives, facilitates expedited decision-making, streamlines access to critical business functions, and enhances effective collaboration across the Bank of America enterprise. He offers the knowledge and insight he has gained from first-hand exposure to the needs and interests of high-net-worth clientele. Adam joined Bank of America in 2001 and has held a number of leadership roles at the firm. Most recently, he served as the Business Banking Sales Performance Executive for the New York Metro Region, where he oversaw extensive growth in the Commercial Banking sector. Previously, Adam was the Small Business Banking Market Manager for Manhattan and Upstate New York, overseeing expansion and integration across the Bank’s footprint in metropolitan and suburban markets.
Committed to the well-being of his community, Adam previously served as a board member of Junior Achievement of Upstate New York, an executive board member of the Rochester Small Business Council, and a member of St. John’s Youth Organization. Within the firm, he is a member of the Parents and Care Givers employee network and is a proud ally of the LGBT+ employee network.
Adam and his wife Stacy live in Warwick, New York, with their three daughters.
