Alexander Matovski

Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor

Professional Profile

Alex Matovski is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Glen Rock, New Jersey. He has extensive experience serving successful business owners, corporate executives, real estate investors, family offices and generations of affluent families.

Leading a team of specialists, Alex orchestrates in-depth analysis and effective collaboration focused on the distinct priorities and goals of each client. Strong relationships constitute the foundation of his approach with clients – and their external tax and legal advisors, as appropriate. He also works closely with both spouses and strives to connect with clients’ children to prepare them for the opportunities and responsibilities of wealth.

Entrepreneurial by nature, Alex recognizes the complexities and possibilities that significant wealth can pose for ambitious women and men. He looks to uncover efficiencies and advanced synergies in multiple disciplines including investment management, trust and estate planning services, credit and lending, business succession planning, liquidity analysis and cash flow. Supported by the extensive resources of Bank of America, Alex and his team offer the intimacy and privacy of a boutique-like experience – with a shared mission to simplify and optimize the management of clients’ personal and professional wealth.

Before joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2017, Alex spent 18 years at Morgan Stanley Private Bank and Wachovia Private Bank in client advisory roles. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in business management from Montclair State University. In addition to serving as a mentor in his community, Alex volunteers with the firm on behalf of several organizations including Habitat for Humanity.
