Alicia Dunlap is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Atlanta, Georgia. She joined the Private Bank in 2021 and works closely with high-net-worth clients, including individuals and multigenerational families, to design customized financial strategies for pursuing their life, legacy and philanthropic goals. She has developed a thoughtful understanding of the issues that can impact the financial lives of families, corporate executives, private equity, entrepreneurs, professional athletes and art collectors. Having an extensive background in Commercial Banking, Alicia is uniquely positioned to help business owners create exit strategies and prepare financially for the future. 

Alicia leads a team of locally-based specialists who provide in-depth experience and guidance in key disciplines: investment management, trust and estate planning services, banking and lending, family office services, and philanthropy. Her clients enjoy working with her because she’s knowledgeable, resourceful, attentive and personable.  She always has the needs of the client at the forefront and prides herself on providing a distinctive client experience. Her expansive network within the Atlanta community bolsters her ability to connect clients to people, valuable information, and resources.
After earning a Bachelor of Science in psychology and pursuing doctoral studies in neuroscience at University of Pittsburgh, she decided to pivot and enter the banking industry. She began her banking career fifteen years ago at J.P. Morgan Chase and has since shared her talents in the areas of Commercial Banking and Wealth Management.  Alicia has many years of experience in cultivating high-net-worth relationships and previously focused on helping clients expand their wealth and businesses via complex and custom financing. She spent 10+ years as a Commercial Banker, six of those at Truist Bank, where her focus was consulting with business owners on ways to grow their businesses and advising area decision-makers in various industries. 

Her experience across both Wealth Management and Commercial Banking lend her a unique and useful vantage point when recommending financial strategies.  

Alicia lives in Atlanta and has one daughter, Ysabella, who attends Spelman College, and two fur babies, Moo and Diamond.  She is a culture and language enthusiast who speaks French and Spanish among other languages.
