Amy Best is a Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor, and Institutional Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in St. Louis, Missouri. Amy works closely with multi-generational families, business owners, and nonprofit institutions to help educate them about key decision points in the management and stewardship of their finances. Collaborative and client-focused, she grounds her work in attentive listening, ongoing communication, and a deep commitment to client well-being.
As a Private Client Advisor, Amy helps successful individuals and families preserve, deploy, and grow their wealth more effectively. Working in concert with a team of specialists, she oversees customized offerings in investment management, trust and estate planning, business and succession planning, banking, and charitable giving. A natural connector, she enjoys helping clients capitalize on the extensive range of resources at their disposal, enterprise wide.
Amy also serves as an Institutional Client Advisor, catering to the needs of private foundations, nonprofit organizations, and public charities. In this role, she assists board members and organizational leaders in better aligning their Investment Policy Statement, asset allocation, spending policy, fundraising strategy and governance structure to enhance their long-term stability, growth, and mission fulfillment.
Amy joined Bank of America (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2000. She holds a B.S. from Eastern Illinois University and an M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
Amy serves on the board and executive committee of Variety, the Children’s Charity of St. Louis, which awarded her its 2013 “Have a Heart, Lend a Hand” Award for her outstanding contributions. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Governance Committee for Philanthropy Missouri.
The mother of twin boys, Amy enjoys an array of outdoor activities with her sons, including camping, fishing, and boating.
