Amy Shannon is a Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in New York, New York. Amy joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2013 and has steadily taken on additional responsibilities. Most recently, she served as Vice President and Strategy Execution Lead for the firm’s Employee Advancement and Development Team, where she oversaw strategic enhancements to the Analyst, Associate, and Intern programs. Previously, Amy was an Assistant Vice President within the Private Client Advisor Development Program, a role that required extensive collaboration with senior leadership across the organization. Earlier in her career, Amy served in business development and relationship management, allowing her to gain first-hand exposure to the distinctive needs of ultra-high-net-worth clients.
Amy earned her B.A. in Political Science from Lafayette College. During her undergraduate tenure, she held internships with both Merrill and the Private Bank, providing her with knowledge of multiple business lines. This connectivity, she believes, helps her to pinpoint effective resources that align with client interests and needs.

Since 2016, Amy has volunteered with iMentor, a nonprofit organization that matches underserved high school students with committed adults who provide sustained support, guiding students on a path to college admission.

Amy lives in Brooklyn, New York.
