Bennett Singer is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank.  In this role, he is responsible for creating and maintaining personalized investment strategies and a broad range of wealth management services including financial planning and wealth strategy.  This includes assisting clients with establishing goals and objectives, developing an appropriate strategy to help meet those goals, formulating and implementing investment strategies, and conducting periodic reviews to help clients monitor their progress in achieving their short- and long-term goals.  In addition, he supports clients in navigating through changing market environments while providing guidance in the areas of asset allocation and diversification, tax-minimization strategies, retirement and multi-generational planning as well as assisting clients with banking and lending needs.

Prior to joining the Private Bank in 2014, Ben worked for more than seventeen years at Citizens Bank as a Senior Portfolio Manager.  He also worked as a Financial Consultant for Merrill.  He served over five years on active duty as an Army helicopter pilot and another twenty seven years in the Rhode Island Army National Guard.  After more than 32 years of Army service, Ben retired as a Brigadier General having served in a variety of positions including the state's Land Component Commander, Director of Army Aviation and an aviation battalion commander.  He served in Afghanistan as well as during the Gulf War.  He is a former Member of the Corporation for Johnson & Wales University where he was an adjunct professor in their graduate school and taught in their MBA program for more than five years.  Ben currently serves on the Board of Directors for Save the Bay.

Ben earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Michigan Technological University.  He has his M.B.A. from Johnson & Wales University and a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.  He holds the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA) designation, which is sponsored by the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers.
