Bonney A. Johnson is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer for Bank of America Private Bank in South Florida.  In this role, Bonney works closely with ultra-high-net-worth clients and families to help ensure that the Private Bank team is developing a personalized wealth plan that suits not only their current needs, but satisfies their future wishes as well.  She works with their outside advisors, including their accountants and attorneys, to help ensure that the clients' holistic wealth plan is established properly and updated as appropriate through changes in tax and regulatory environments.  

Bonney began her wealth management career Bank of America over 35 years ago.  She has served in a variety of roles within the bank including the brokerage division, and joined the trust division of Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 1996.

Bonney earned her Bachelor of Applied Science in Organization Management from Indian River State College.  She studied Business Administration at Cumberland University, and attended 3 years of National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University and 3 years of Florida Graduate Trust School at the University of South Florida. She also holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation which is sponsored by the ABA institute of Certified Bankers.

Active in her community, Bonney currently serves on the operating board of the Humane Society of St. Lucie County, and Foundation Board of Helping People Succeed and on the Foundation Board of Treasure Coast Hospice.  She is also a member of the Martin County Estate Planning Council.  Previously, she has volunteered with Alzheimer's Community Care, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach/Martin Counties, Treasure Coast Hospice, Impact 100 of Indian River County, Safe Space, Dogs and Cats Forever, the Humane Society, United Way, Habitat for Humanity, Kiwanis, Christ Fellowship and many other organizations throughout the Treasure Coast and Palm Beach County.

In her spare time, Bonney enjoys community involvement, antiquing, her love of dogs, nature, animals and traveling in her RV.
