Carl Blain is a Vice President and Senior Trust Officer at Bank of America Private Bank, in Las Vegas, Nevada. In his role, Carl provides highly personalized service to high-net-worth individuals and families by understanding their goals and helping them implement and develop wealth transfer strategies to help carry out their estate plans. Carl develops long-term relationships with clients, by providing them with the knowledge and confidence they need to enact and revise their estate plans in light of changing priorities and objectives.

With over a decade of experience, Carl is the main point of contact for clients and their beneficiaries when it comes to matters of trust administration, and will engage other Bank of America Private Bank specialists to assist, as appropriate. Helping individuals and families achieve what they value the most, like creating legacy for future generations or transferring wealth in a tax-efficient manner, is Carl's ultimate goal as Senior Trust Officer.  

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2020, Carl worked as a Senior Trust Officer at U.S. Bank and as a Fiduciary Relationship Specialist at Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. His professional background includes specializing in various aspects of trust and wealth management including financial planning, trust administration, and relationship management.

Carl earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Trust and Wealth Management, with a minor in financial planning, from Campbell University.  He holds a Masters of Business Administration degree from Roseman University and Masters of Science in Taxation degree from William Howard Taft University.  Carl holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. He also holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation which is sponsored by the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers. 

Carl currently serves as a CFP® mentor under the CFP® Board Mentor Program and a is member of the CFP® Scholarship Review Panel.  He is also a member of the Southern Nevada Estate Planning Council. 

When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, traveling, hiking, and attending sporting events.
