Carrie Seligman is a Managing Director and Wealth Strategies Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in Boston, Massachusetts. Her warm, caring and engaging approach addresses the complex wealth management needs of business owners, corporate executives and multi-generational families. Drawing on her past experience as corporate counsel for her family-owned business, Carrie has a keen insight into the complexities and inner dynamics of privately-owned companies. In addition to assessing their current positions, she can offer tax minimization and estate planning strategies and provide guidance to help mitigate risk before and after a liquidity event.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2006, Carrie spent nine years in a similar role at Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company in Boston. During her tenure, she utilized insurance products to help clients with liquidity, estate planning services and executive compensation needs.

Carrie earned a bachelor’s degree in social work from Skidmore College, a J.D. from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, and a L.L.M. in taxation from Boston University. Carrie also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and a fellow and current New England Chapter Chair of the Family Firm Institute.

A native New Englander, Carrie loves outdoor activities, including hiking and skiing. She is an adventurous traveler and has a great love of lighthouses. Her goal is to visit every lighthouse along the east coast. Carrie can be found tooling around Sharon, Massachusetts with her Westie in her quirky cars. She also has a grown son, who is an artist.
