David A. Prichard is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Santa Barbara, California. In his role, David works closely with high-net-worth clients, business owners, and non-profit organizations. Providing multi-generational wealth management to families, family offices, business owners and senior executives, David helps clients thoughtfully and efficiently grow, preserve, and transfer their wealth. For business owners, he teams with wealth strategists to provide pre- and post-liquidity event planning by focusing on opportunities on both sides of the balance sheet to grow, preserve, and transfer wealth more effectively. With nonprofit/institutional clients, David provides strategic advice on investment management and grant-making policies, as well as board development and fundraising. David has a close-knit team of private banking specialists who work together to develop customized strategies in investment management, lending, wealth structuring, banking, and philanthropy. Clients also enjoy access to an extensive range of financial resources available from Bank of America. 
David joined the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 1997. Drawing on nearly 40 years of wealth management experience, he guides clients in creating personalized financial strategies to pursue their life and legacy goals. His broad knowledge and close client relationships are the hallmarks of his role as an Advisor. In addition to his position with the Private Bank, David also served as the Santa Barbara/Ventura County market president for nine years. In this leadership role he collaborated with Bank of America executives and non-profits to deliver the resources of Bank of America to local communities. This included overseeing regional grant making through the Bank of America Charitable Foundation and facilitating community sponsorships. David maintains his network with public charities and private foundations to share the Philanthropic Solutions of Bank of America Private Bank. 
David holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation from the American Bankers Association (ABA). He received his B.A. in business economics from University of California, Santa Barbara. Active in his community, David has served on numerous boards and executive committees including Unity Shoppe, United Way of Santa Barbara, and Santa Barbara Zoo. Married with two grown children, David is an avid surfer and golfer.
