David Bader is the Market Executive for Central Texas with Bank of America Private Bank. David directs the efforts of Private Client Advisors, Associates, and Specialists from Austin to San Antonio, ensuring they have the tools, technologies, and resources to address the most sophisticated client needs. He also facilitates the smooth delivery of client capabilities, drawing on his direct knowledge of multiple business lines to spearhead a highly efficient framework for advancing client objectives.

A veteran leader within the firm, David is closely attuned to the needs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families, and institutions. He oversees the delivery of tailored initiatives in investment management, trust and estate planning services, customized credit, specialty asset management, family office services, and philanthropy. Team oriented, he fosters a culture that is collaborative and centered on client well-being.

David began his career as a Financial Advisor with Merrill and, with Bank of America has steadily taken on additional leadership responsibilities. Prior to his current role, he served as the Consumer Banking and Merrill Edge Region Executive for South Central Texas, where he directed the banking, credit, and investment activities of more than 600 Associates across 82 financial centers. Previously, he served as the Preferred Banking and Merrill Edge Regional Sales Manager for Illinois and Michigan. His leadership in Texas began in 2009, when he served as the Capitol Complex Sales Manager with Merrill in Austin. Two years later, he was named Regional Sales Manager for Austin, San Antonio, and Houston. Within the firm, he serves as a Market Integration Executive, and the Executive Sponsor for LGBT Pride and Community Volunteers.

David earned his B.A. in History from the University of Michigan. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification.
