Don Weiher is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Taking a collaborative, client-centered approach, he leverages a team of specialists to address both sides of clients’ balance sheets and help them create efficiencies to address the entirety of their financial lives.

Don has a depth of experience supporting the needs of high-net-worth clients who are looking to diversify their balance sheets and investment portfolios with commercial real estate. He can also assist entrepreneurs in a wide range of financial areas, from capital-raising, mergers and acquisitions, and cash management strategies, to business succession and wealth transfer planning. Additionally, Don prides himself on his ability to help manage the complex wealth management needs of individuals in the sports and entertainment industries. Working seamlessly with their circle of advisors, he can assist with financial education, asset management, credit & borrowing, budgeting, and cash flow management strategies.

Don joined Bank of America as a part-time teller in 2009 and became a business banker in its commercial bank in 2010. He joined the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2014. Don earned a dual bachelor’s degree in real estate development and urban analysis from The Ohio State University.

A member of the Greater Fort Lauderdale and Miami Chamber of Commerce, Don is a graduate of Leadership Fort Lauderdale and Leadership Miami. He currently serves as an executive board member of the YMCA of South Florida and the Ghost Light Society for the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. He was previously involved with the United Way of Broward and Miami-Dade Counties.

Born and raised in Toledo, Don and his wife, Jessica, currently reside in south Florida with their two daughters, Ariana and Graciella. An avid Buckeye fan, Don enjoys rooting for Ohio sports teams and traveling the globe with his family.
