Eric Lowrey is a Managing Director at Bank of America Private Bank and is one of the few Advisors that has a dual role within the organization.

As an Institutional Client Advisor, Eric represents our Philanthropic Services group that supports nonprofit tax-exempt organizations with needs involving their endowment funds as well as other asset management and banking services. He also acts as a consultant to charities on financial matters and other governance issues. Philanthropic Services works with numerous private family foundations as well.

Eric, as a Private Client Advisor, works closely with corporate executives, business owners, and multi-generational families, helping them deploy, preserve, and transfer their wealth more effectively. 

Eric is particularly adept in advising with clients who have complex needs and priorities. He leads a team of specialists, who work in concert to streamline the intersection of a client’s personal and professional wealth. His areas of focus include customized investment management, trust and estate planning services, business and succession planning, executive compensation strategies, banking and lending, and philanthropy. 

Committed to the long-term well-being of each client and family, Eric grounds his approach in transparency and responsiveness, staying apprised of clients’ evolving objectives and intentions. Eric has over 25 years of experience in wealth management and investing. Prior to joining the firm in 2012, he served as a Senior Vice President and Relationship Manager with Brown Brothers Harriman. He began his financial services career in 1989 as a Business Analyst for Dun and Bradstreet. He earned his M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance from Boston University and his undergraduate degree from Lehigh University. 

Deeply committed to volunteerism, Eric has served in leadership roles with several area organizations including museums and social service organizations. Currently, he is the Vice President of the Massachusetts 9/11 Fund in Boston, MA.
