Professional Profile

Eric Abel is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. He serves non-profit organizations and a select group of business owners and corporate executives who lead complex, sophisticated financial lives, but recognize that they may not have the time or specialization that their finances may require. He welcomes this as an opportunity to heighten simplicity and connect clients to the global resources of the bank.

An efficient and creative problem solver, Eric is passionate about understanding each client's unique story. Long before he formulates any specific strategies, he spends considerable time asking questions to help uncover and address potential gaps in their wealth management strategies. To aid him in addressing his clients’ multifaceted situations, Eric draws not only on his own knowledge, but also on a team of dedicated specialists with deep experience in investment management, philanthropic objectives, banking, and sophisticated credit and lending opportunities.

Eric joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2013 with 17 years of experience directing professional fundraising efforts for several higher education and healthcare institutions. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and his master’s degree from East Stroudsburg University.

Active in his community, Eric currently volunteers for St. Luke’s University Health Network, Lehigh University, Habitat for Humanity, and The St. Isidore School.

Eric and his wife of more than two decades reside in Quakertown, Pennsylvania with their three children. In addition to reading, running, biking, swimming and skiing, he enjoys traveling with his family and playing golf, tennis and squash. Eric is also a youth basketball and flag football coach.
