Fred Grand is Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private bank in Sothern California.  He is responsible for providing high net worth individuals, families, business owners and institutions with customized baking and financial planning services. Fred truly enjoys the complexities of assisting clients with comprehensive financial strategies to help preserve and grow wealth. He leads a team of financial professions to provide integrated strategies and execution in multiple disciplines: investment management, customized credit and lending, wealth structuring, trust and estate planning services, philanthropy, and other private banking services. With more than 14 years of financial advisory experience and market presence, Fred has developed meaningful relationships throughout the financial community and is able to enhance his client’s goals by utilizing his network to add value.

Prior to joining the Private Bank, Fred was a Global Commercial Banker for Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he customized banking solutions for Middle Market companies and their owners. Fred was also an Investment Banker and CPA® conducting mergers, acquisitions, and financing advisory services. He began his career as an auditor for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) where he specialized in financial services for Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, and hedge funds. In addition, Fred has been a top-ranked, adjunct professor at the University of San Diego teaching finance and accounting.

Fred is a native Southern Californian,  He earned his Bachelors and Masters of Accountancy and Financial Planning degrees with honors from the University of San Diego. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA®, inactive). He is an active member of the community and is on several company Boards.
