Glenn Mealey, Managing Director and Private Client Advisor, leads a wealth management team with Bank of America Private Bank in Houston. Having co-founded a company and taken it public while in his 40's, Glenn personally relates to business owners from an informed perspective and understands first-hand the challenges and aspirations business owners and c-suite executives face. He harnesses his extensive knowledge of investment banking, commercial banking, liquidity event strategy, and wealth management to design and implement cohesive offerings, leveraging the vast resources of Bank of America. Glenn spearheads design and implementation across multiple disciplines: investment management, credit and lending, trust and estate planning services and business succession planning. Glenn is entrepreneurial by nature and is relentless in procuring the services and capabilities required to help advance client aims.


A native Houstonian, Glenn has 35+ years of financial services experience. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, he served as SVP of Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America, where he worked closely with business owners and senior executives to help companies grow organically and through acquisition. Previously, he was Managing Principal and Co-Head of the M&A Practice of Collabera, a financial consulting firm. His experience also includes tenures with Franklin Bank, where he held positions as Chief Administrative and Operations Officer, Chief Credit Officer, and Managing Director; Bank United, where he was Managing Director of Investment Banking; Paribas, where he was Managing Director; and Fuji Bank.


Glenn earned his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
