Heather Barbour is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Nashville, Tennessee. An integral part of her approach is to invest the time to learn about her clients, their families, businesses, and non-profits, to understand what’s important and to help simplify their complex and sophisticated financial lives. With a thoughtful understanding of the issues that can impact the financial lives of women, Heather also offers strategic perspective to help with their distinctive needs.

 Heather and her partner, Sloan Allen, utilize their deep background in customized credit and lending to take an integrated view of all of their clients’ resources and help develop well-thought-out options to meet their specialized needs. Heather also guides effective collaboration with a team of highly credentialed specialists across multiple disciplines, including wealth structuring, trust and estate planning services, investment management, and philanthropy.

Her financial services career began with Bank of America’s bank analyst program, and she later assumed roles with other banks in asset-based lending and homebuilder finance. In 2004, she rejoined the Bank’s commercial real estate financing division, helping real estate developers meet their financing, liquidity and treasury needs. Heather joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2015 as a structured credit executive for U.S. Trust, where she provided customized credit solutions to high-net-worth clients across the southeast. She earned her B.S. in finance from Florida State University and her M.B.A. from California State University and holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.

Deeply involved in her community, Heather currently serves on the Heroes in Heels event committee for the Maryland Farms YMCA. She is also active with the Bank of America LEAD for Women and its Power of 10 mentorship program. Heather and her husband, Brent, reside in Brentwood, with their two children. In her spare time, she enjoys playing golf.
