Hugh Milmoe is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with the Bank of America Private Bank in Baltimore, Maryland. He works with a nationwide clientele that includes executives, business owners, entrepreneurs, and ultra-high-net-worth families. Hugh is committed to helping clients with significant wealth develop strategies for pursuing their long-term financial goals. He draws on more than 20 years of financial services experience, with a focus on investments, philanthropy, and credit and lending solutions. 

Hugh assembles and leads a Private Bank team with specialized skills that complement his own knowledge and experience. Together, they work closely with clients to create innovative strategies for investment management and philanthropy, as well as trust and estate planning services and lending solutions.       

Prior to joining the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2018, Hugh worked for over a decade at Stifel Nicolaus. He specialized in creating strategies to help publicly traded companies raise capital, as well as in developing exit strategies for private equity, venture capital, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  As a restricted stock specialist, Hugh crafted creative block trading, private placement, risk bids, and derivative hedging strategies for executives with single stock concentrations who were seeking diversification and liquidity. Earlier in his career, he held similar roles at Wachovia Securities and Ferris Baker Watts.

Hugh holds a B.A. degree in English with an additional concentration in business from the University of Virginia. He supports Ladew Topiary Gardens, a non-profit garden in Monkton, Maryland.
