Janet Pittman is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank, in Chicago, Illinois. Janet works closely with individuals and families, helping them capitalize on the opportunities and address the complexities of significant wealth. She offers a multi-disciplinary approach, working in concert with Private Bank specialists in investment management, trust and estate planning services, banking, business succession planning, and philanthropy. Janet has worked at Bank of America since 2015. Prior to joining the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust), she held positions in the Global Corporate & Investment Banking and Global Commercial Banking Divisions, providing her with in-depth knowledge of complex credit transactions, liquidity strategies, and customized banking services. Her previous exposure to multiple business lines strengthens her ability to connect clients to the resources and capabilities they require, enterprise-wide. Janet earned her M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and her B.A., Cum Laude, from Middlebury College.

Within the community, Janet has been an active member of the Junior League, a nonprofit organization that supports pathways to opportunity through improved access to education and professional and financial development. Within the firm, she serves as a “Better Money Habits” champion, providing financial education to nonprofit partner organizations. Janet is also involved in a number of employee networks, including Military Support and Assistance Group (MSAG), the Women’s Empowerment Network (WEN) and a cross line of business Power of 10 Circle, which supports information sharing and mentoring for women.

A Chicago native, Janet has completed the Bank of America Chicago Marathon multiple times in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. In her free time, she enjoys long distance cycling, hiking with her husband Ben and their dog Tucker, and traveling to new destinations.
