Janet Ryan is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Dallas, Texas. Janet works closely with high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational families, and nonprofit institutions, helping them deploy their wealth thoughtfully and purposefully. She has particular depth catering to the needs of entrepreneurs and professional athletes, mindful of each client’s distinctive objectives, time horizons, values, and intentions. Janet is also skilled in supporting endowments and foundations in their efforts to deepen donor engagement, enhance organizational capacity, and fulfill their mission.
A veteran team leader, Janet looks to provide a seamless client experience founded on personalization, diligence, and collaboration. She works in concert with a team of Private Banking specialists in investment management, trust and estate planning services, wealth strategy, banking, and philanthropy. Together, they assess both sides of a client’s balance sheet to uncover possible efficiencies, advancing a cohesive approach to the opportunities and challenges that significant wealth can entail.
Janet joined Bank of America in 1997. Previously, she worked for nine years with a regional bank in Little Rock, Arkansas, as a Vice President and Commercial Lender. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, where she majored in accounting. Prior to joining Bank of America, she passed the CPA exam.*
Janet is the former chairman of the Visiting Nurse Association of Texas and now sits on its foundation board. She is a member of the Dean’s Executive Advisory Board for the Sam Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas, and a member of the Dallas Chapter of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity Alumni Association.
Janet and her husband reside in Dallas.
