Professional Profile

Jason Stahl is a Senior Vice President and Wealth Strategies Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in New York, New York. Jason believes in having conversations with clients to help them explore the range of possibilities for their lifestyle and their legacy. He can review existing estate plans with clients and offer a perspective on how well their planning aligns with the intentions they have for their wealth.

Jason is enthusiastic about helping clients expand on their ideas for how they envision the use of their wealth.  He can assist clients with prioritizing competing needs, such as retirement, multi-generational goals and philanthropy, walking them through different scenarios, quantifying them and laying out the potential pros and cons of each.

Educating the next generation can be an important component in the smooth transfer of wealth. Jason can facilitate family discussions where clients and their children can ask each other questions about their wealth. He believes the more informed future generations become, the more receptive they may be to carrying on family values in the decisions they make involving family wealth.

Jason joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2012 as a sales and service officer in the Florham Park, New Jersey, office and transitioned to the Wealth Strategies Group in 2014. He previously worked in client service and event coordination at Wells Fargo Private Bank. Jason is a graduate of Vassar College with a bachelor’s degree in history and a minor in quantitative economics. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.

Originally from New Jersey, Jason lives in Queens, New York. He enjoys running and skiing and plays bass guitar for fun.
