Jennifer Winstel is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Charlotte, North Carolina. Jennifer works closely with senior executives and other individuals with complex wealth management needs, helping them streamline the intersection of their personal and professional wealth. She draws on more than 30 years of experience in investing and private banking, allowing her to discern possible efficiencies and remedy gaps in the management and stewardship of significant wealth. 

Jennifer has worked in financial services since 1990. She joined Bank of America in 2013 and worked at Merrill as a financial advisor before joining the Private Bank (formerly US Trust) in 2018.  Prior to joining Bank of America, she was a Managing Director and Head of US Equity Institutional Sales for RBC Capital Markets in New York. In this capacity, she directed a large team of institutional-equity professionals to optimize client strategy and coverage for 150 of the firm’s largest clients in the U.S. and Canada. She also served on numerous operating committees focused on leadership strategy and growth for the investment bank. She earned her B.S. in business administration from Bowling Green State University and was honored by the College of Business with its accomplished alumni award in 2013. She has also completed the Securities Industry Institute executive program at the Wharton School. 

Deeply involved in the community, Jennifer is the Founder and former Chairperson for 2020 Women on Boards for North and South Carolina.  She now serves as a strategic advisor. She also co-chaired the Circle of Red Campaign for the American Heart Association and now serves on the executive leadership committee in Charlotte over the past 4 years.  She is a member of the Women’s Impact Fund and Women Executives of Charlotte. Previously, she was a board member of Autism Charlotte and served on the Foundation for Bowling Green State University as well as served on the investment committee.
