Jing Chen is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Melville, New York. Jing works closely with entrepreneurs, business owners, and executives, helping them streamline various aspects of their financial lives. Fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese, he advises multiple families with international business interests, helping them grow, deploy and transfer their wealth more efficiently.

Jing grounds his approach in clarity and responsiveness, working to provide clients with the information they need to pursue sound decisions about their financial lives and legacies. He leads a team of in-house specialists who work in concert to unify several wealth disciplines: investment management, trust and estate planning, banking and lending, family office services, and business and succession planning. Together, they look to uncover possible efficiencies, remedy gaps, and enact a more thoughtful and deliberate financial framework for each individual, couple, or family. As the lead relationship manager, Jing stays apprised of changing client circumstances, adjusting his approach based on dynamic market conditions and evolving family priorities. Committed to each client’s long-term best interests, he savors his role as a reliable guide, a faithful advisor, and a discreet sounding board for new ideas and opportunities. 

Jing has worked at Bank of America since 2012. Prior to joining the Private Bank in 2019, he served as a Merrill Financial Solutions Advisor in Queens, New York, and a Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Financial Advisor in Norfolk, Virginia. He graduated with Honors from Old Dominion University with a double major in finance and accounting. He holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification and earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation.

In his free time, Jing is involved in a number of activities in Queens with the Chinese American community. He and his wife Jessica have a son, Aron and a daughter, Anne.
