JoAnn Anderson is the Managing Director and Market Executive at Bank of America Private Bank for the Orange County and Inland Empire regions in California. She is responsible for the hiring, retention and development of Private Bank sales, investment and trust teams in the region. With JoAnn’s 25+ years with the Private Bank, as well as her relationships throughout Bank of America, she is able to facilitate valuable client connections across the enterprise.

JoAnn leads a region of more than 70 professionals who take a thoughtful and thorough approach to helping high-net worth clients make the most of what matters to them.  Whether it’s preserving and transferring their wealth, building philanthropic legacies, or planning for future growth, her team at the Private Bank offers expertise from highly-credentialed financial professionals to serve their clients’ complex needs and goals.  

Currently, JoAnn is actively engaged in leadership and mentor roles with several internal bank programs, initiatives and network associations that promote the development and advancement of women in the workplace, diversity and inclusion, and for increasing client satisfaction with Bank of America.

A Southern California native, JoAnn has worked in the southland throughout her career. Prior to her current role, she served as the Private Bank Market Executive for Greater Los Angeles. Previously, she was a National Sales Manager at the Private Bank, leading sales, marketing and strategy for the Private Bank and Schwab referral program. She earned her B.S. in Economics from California State University, Northridge.  She has been active in a number of philanthropic initiatives including Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, The Autry National Museum, Downtown Women’s Center, Junior Achievement and the Los Angeles Food Bank. She currently resides in Orange County with her family.
