Johanna Velasquez is a Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Atlanta, Georgia. Johanna works closely with high-net-worth clients to assess their needs and interests, and then coordinate the resources to advance their objectives, enterprise wide. She orchestrates effective communication across a client’s Private Bank team, fostering the highest levels of diligence and responsiveness. A natural relationship builder, Johanna offers an intuitive understanding for people and their priorities, treating clients with courtesy and professionalism.
As a key point of client contact, Johanna serves as a central resource for clients and their families. She is skilled in helping clients navigate the opportunities and offerings at their disposal, smoothing their path toward meaningful objectives in growing, preserving, and transferring their wealth. An experienced liaison, Johanna is also adept in following through on client requests, directing cohesive action across a team of specialists. She enjoys working with multiple generations of client families, nurturing their development as capable and informed stewards. She is also well versed in custom credit, investments, trust and estate planning services and banking.
Johanna joined Bank of America in 2005 and has served in various regional leadership and regional support roles. She was most recently the Consumer Market Leader for the North Atlanta Community market in Georgia. She earned her Bachelors in Digital Design-Computer graphics degree from Minnesota State University of Moorhead.
Passionate about her community, Johanna serves as the co-chair of the Hispanic Latino Leadership Council for the GA market. She is also a representative in the Atlanta Racial Equity Grants Council Committee and is a member of the Atlanta Leadership team. She volunteers with several other organizations such as the Latin American Association, Habitat for Humanity, United Way and local food banks. She also supports community organizations and schools with the bank of America financial literacy programming.
Johanna resides in Suwanee, Georgia with her husband and two children.
