John “Johnny” Samii is a Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Los Angeles, California. He is committed to connecting ultra-high-net-worth clients with integrated wealth management strategies tailored to their individual life and legacy goals. Johnny applies insights based on his professional experience to help clients define their financial priorities and vision for the future. Then, he coordinates with specialists throughout the Private Bank to deliver customized offerings based on each client’s objectives. These may include wealth planning resources; asset and investment management strategies; trust and estate planning services; and credit and banking services.
Johnny enjoys working with a wide range of clients, from multigenerational families to business owners, corporate executives and people in the entertainment industry. Describing himself as a “people person who also likes numbers,” he combines a positive attitude with meticulous attention to detail.
Johnny joined the Private Bank in 2021 from Merrill, where he was a financial solutions advisor and, earlier, a registered client associate on a wealth management team. He started his financial career as an analyst with a real estate investment firm in Beverly Hills.
Johnny graduated cum laude from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in economics. A Los Angeles native, he is a member of the Iranian American Chamber of Commerce. His personal interests include playing golf, tennis and basketball.
