Jon Shibata is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor in the Los Angeles office of Bank of America Private Bank. Jon works closely with high net worth individuals, families, and institutions, providing guidance and resources in multiple disciplines, including: investment management, wealth structuring and planning guidance, philanthropy, and lending.

As a Private Client Advisor, Jon helps to orchestrate a team of specialists to help customize strategies that support high net worth client needs.  Jon strives to help families grow, protect and preserve, and ultimately transfer their wealth with the controls they desire in an efficient manner.  Jon is skilled in implementing near and long term goals by facilitating strategies across multiple generations.

Jon has worked in financial services since 2005, joining Bank of America in 2011. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa and his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University, where he graduated with High Honors. While at Pepperdine, Jon contributed to the Graziadio Business Review publication.

Jon is an active volunteer with Junior Achievement and various other community organizations.
