Joy Hunter Chaillou is a Managing Director and Market Sales Executive at Bank of America Private Bank in the Metro New York Market. In this role, Joy leads client relationship teams that strive to deliver investment, banking and wealth advisory services to clients.

Previously, she held the role of National Practice Executive within U.S. Trust’s Philanthropic Nonprofit Consulting Practice. She and her team provided ongoing support to help institutional endowment and foundation clients pursue their mission-related objectives. Joy worked closely with organizational leadership and boards of directors to understand their priorities, provide in-depth guidance and develop tailored strategies. Her team’s areas of focus include endowment development, nonprofit governance and board dynamics. Joy has 17 years of experience working with and for nonprofits. 

Prior to joining Bank of America, she was a part of an investment management team at Morgan Stanley where she worked to help individuals and institutional organizations reach their goals through asset management, operational strategies and strategic advice. 

Additionally, Joy spent 6 years at the American Heart Association serving as the Vice President of Planned Giving and Chair of their National Planned Giving Marketing Committee.

Joy earned her B.S. degree from Old Dominion University through the Centre d'Etude Franco-Américain de Management (CEFAM) and her M.B.A. in Strategic Leadership from Dominican University of Northern California. She is a founder of the Association of Fundraising Professionals in Westchester County, New York, and currently serves on the boards of The Children’s Support Foundation and Saints John and Paul School Foundation. Joy is an active planned giving advisory committee volunteer for New York Presbyterian Hospital. She is the co-author of a book titled, Nonprofit Investment & Development Solutions: A guide to thriving in today’s economy published by John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
