Jean-Philippe “J.P.”  Mourra is a Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank.  He is the primary point of contact for existing clients.  J.P.’s main objectives are to listen to clients, help identify their needs, provide guidance and coordinate the extensive resources of Bank of America.

While developing new client relationships and helping to ensure a professional and personal client experience, he also assists clients with implementing their overall wealth plan in the following areas: investment management, strategic banking, residential real estate financing and structured credit, as well as daily liquidity and service needs.

J.P. has over 18 years of investment, credit and banking experience working with individuals, families, private foundations, non-profit organizations, small businesses, and hedge fund and private equity firms and their principals.

J.P. began his career at Bank of America (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2002 and spent four years in leadership positions in the Consumer Bank and as a relationship manager in Bank of America’s Premier Banking and Investments division. In 2006, he moved to Citi Private Bank, where he was a Vice President and Senior Associate Banker. For over a decade, he has worked closely with Private Client Advisor Unaizah Moonis and has gained extensive experience in meeting the needs of many types of clients, including financial sponsors, corporate executives, non-profit organizations, entrepreneurs and business owners, as well as other wealth creators.

J.P. was born in Haiti where he lived until the age of 15.  After moving to the U.S., he earned his B.S. in Business Administration and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Central Florida. The experience of growing up in Haiti—with its enormous disparity between the haves and have-nots—fueled his interest in social justice causes.  J.P. is active in volunteering in his community.
