Julie Min Chayet is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank. Julie collaborates with the client’s broader Bank of America team and external advisors to oversee investment, trust, philanthropy, credit and lending services.

From 2014-2018, Julie led a team of Trust Officers in Connecticut, Upstate New York and Long Island as the Market Trust Executive. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, she worked for Fiduciary Trust Company International as a Business Development Officer and served nine years as Trust Counsel. Julie also practiced law in New York and Connecticut, with a focus on estate planning and settlement.* Julie holds a B.A. from Haverford College, an M.P.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, and a J.D. from Fordham Law School.

She is a former board member of the Estate Planning Council of New York City, and is a frequent speaker on wealth transfer planning. Julie has written articles for Trusts & Estates, Metropolitan Corporate Counsel and Director’s Monthly. She is a member of the New York Bar Association, Section on Trusts and Estates, and the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (and its New York and Connecticut affiliates). She is a Champion for Diversity and Inclusion in her market. Julie is the current President of the Connecticut chapter of the Fordham Law Alumni Association. She is also Past President of the Alumni Association of Haverford College, and current co-chair for the Class of 1991 Annual Giving Fund. In 2016, she received the William E. Sheppard Award given for exemplary service to Haverford College in the area of alumni activities. Julie is a member of the Wildlife Conservation Trust/Timber Owners of New England, a conservation organization in New Hampshire.
