Kafi C. Slaughter is Managing Director and Private Client Advisor for Bank of America Private Bank. While The Private Bank is headquartered in New York, Mrs. Slaughter offices in Houston, Texas and serves clients with an expanded practice across the United States. Mrs. Slaughter is responsible for working with high-net-worth clients to assist in effectively managing and preserving their wealth. She leads a team of specialists to implement comprehensive wealth plans tailored to each client’s needs.

She is a member of the Women’s Team Member Network, Black Executive Leadership Team, and a member of the Asian Network within Bank of America. She is also a regular speaker & mentor to junior advisors across the franchise. An experienced executive, Mrs. Slaughter has more than 25 years executive experience in the financial services industry. 

As a cancer survivor, Mrs. Slaughter has a passion for health education to local communities, where she actively serves on the Advocacy Council of Baylor College of Medicine – Duncan Cancer Center. An alum of Texas A&M University, she served on the Board of the Black Former Student Network & Co-Founder of the Aggie Impact Endowment, a constituent network & endowment under the Texas A&M University Association of Former Students & Texas A&M Foundation. Her community outreach includes serving as volunteer of the Women’s Fund – a non-profit that provides Houston teens with financial literary and life empowerment skills, volunteer to Alpha Kappa Alpha Ivy Educational & Charitable Foundation mentoring young professionals, and a frequent speaker to industry organizations such the Houston Family Office Association and non-profits such as Young Women’s College Preparatory Academy-focused on STEM education for underserved college bound seniors.

Mrs. Slaughter studied economics at Texas A&M University and later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in statistical & behavioral economics from the University of Alaska’s College of Business & Public Policy. She has recently earned a certificate honoring her completion of the Women’s Leadership Program hosted by Yale University’s School of Management & Executive Education Program.

Mrs. Slaughter is married to Houston entrepreneur Richard Slaughter. Their daughter, Zoe Slaughter, a globally-ranked and highly-decorated student athlete, is a member of the Texas A&M Women’s Golf Team.
