Karen is a Vice President and Senior Trust Relationship Officer with the Bank of America Private Bank in Hartford, Connecticut. She is responsible for managing trust and investment relationships by maintaining overall client satisfaction, overseeing, coordinating and following up on all services to her clients.  Karen has over 25 years of experience as a trust administrator and values helping clients to achieve their wealth management goals.

Karen has a dynamic background and has a rich understanding of both our banking and trust services solutions.  She joined Bank of America in November 1988 as a Head Teller in one of its financial centers. She held various positions including Customer Service Representative and Assistant Manager in the Consumer Banking segment, until she joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) Trust Department in 1993. Karen studied trust administration at Williams College. She also attended the Cannon Trust Programs and earned the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation, which is sponsored by the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers, in April 2002. She is a member of the Estate and Tax Planning Council of Eastern Connecticut, for which she has served as a board member since 2004, and as board president during 2009–2010. 

Karen has a strong academic background in trust administration and continues to follow current trends by remaining engaged in the trust professional community.  Karen provides her professional network to her clients as a value added service and helps them to fulfill their legacy wealth planning goals.
