Professional Profile
Katelin Kalal is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Boston, Massachusetts. She serves a loyal and ambitious clientele across New England – delivering the specialized knowledge of her team and the extensive resources of the firm.
Katelin works with ultra-high-net-worth entrepreneurs, owners of private and legacy businesses, and corporate executives – many who share their lessons of success and setbacks with her. Katelin admires these clients and enjoys learning about their family histories, as well as the roads and bumps they’ve taken along the way. Katelin also assists other wealthy women and men whose life transitions – including divorce – require a fresh look at establishing and pursuing meaningful outcomes.
Recognizing the time constraints facing clients, Katelin and her team deliver a proactive, hands-on approach that helps clients prepare for important decisions surrounding liquidity events, succession and intergenerational wealth planning, and philanthropic priorities. She also meets with family members to gather input and educate them on the responsibilities of managing wealth. In striving to cultivat trusted relationships with generations of families, Katelin brings natural empathy – reminding them of her accountability, availability and the intellectual capital and fiduciary culture of Bank of America Private Bank.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2014, Katelin spent seven years with BNY Mellon Wealth Management.
Katelin holds a B.B.A. cum laude from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. Over the years, she has been actively involved with Women for UMass and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (having served on its Marathon Challenge Board and run the Boston Marathon five times). Currently, Katelin co-chairs the Outreach Committee for the Dana-Farber Leadership Council. She resides in Boston.
