Kenneth Russell is a Private Client Advisor and Market Director with Bank of America Private Bank based in New Haven, Connecticut. He leverages his own knowledge and experience while channeling the expansive offerings of Bank of America Private Bank to create personal, practical, and thoughtful wealth management guidance and implementation.

Ken advises private business owners and entrepreneurs about pre- and post- transaction planning, encompassing investment, wealth transfer, and philanthropic initiatives. Ken assists clients in examining both sides of their balance sheets, spearheading customized credit and lending, as appropriate. Ken also helps affluent clients be effective stewards of their wealth, transferring values and ethics to the next generation through education and outreach.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Ken was President of the New England Region for GenSpring Family Offices, where he directed investments, governance, financial planning and next-generation education for wealthy families. Ken worked for eleven years with JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor firms, where he served as Managing Director in the Private Bank, head of the Closely Held Business Group, and established and led the Professional Sports Finance Group within the Private Bank. Ken’s career also includes tenures with Citigroup’s Private Bank and Webster Financial Advisors.

Ken earned his M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Leonard Stern School of Business and his B.A. in Economics from Rutgers College.
