Kimberly Butler, CTFA, is a Managing Director and Senior Trust Officer at Bank of America, Private Bank in Providence, Rhode Island. In this role, Kim is responsible for the administration of Investment Management and Trust accounts and for providing guidance and possible strategies to clients, particularly in the area of estate planning.
Kim has over thirty years of experience in the areas of wealth management, estate settlement and philanthropy. Previously, Kim was Vice President for Gift Planning & Stewardship at the Rhode Island Foundation where she worked with individuals and their advisors on the creation of charitable gift plans. Prior to that, she was a Vice President and Estate Settlement Officer at BankBoston and Fleet National Bank.
Kim earned both a B.S. in management and an MBA from Bryant University. Kim holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation which is sponsored by the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers. She is also a 2009 graduate of Leadership Rhode Island. Kim is a member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and is a member and past president of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning. Kim serves on several committees of the San Miguel School and the Planned Gift Advisory Council for Lifespan.
