Kyle Gebhart

Vice President, Portfolio Manager

Professional Profile

Kyle Gebhart is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in the Columbia and greater South Carolinian market. In this role, he develops, implements, and manages customized investment strategies for high net worth individuals, a variety of established trusts, as well as institutions. In constructing the plan, Kyle works with the client and any outside council to determine their financial goals and objectives, risk tolerance, cash flow needs, and tax situation.  He uses this information to create an Investment Policy Statement (IPS), which will serve as a detailed guide for managing the investment relationship. Kyle then leverages the open architecture offered by the Private  Bank investment platform making use of the most effective investment options for each client, employing traditional financial asset classes, as well as alternative investments and specialty assets, where appropriate. The portfolio is managed in accordance with the fiduciary standard, and solely in the best interest of the client.

Once the plan is established, Kyle manages and monitors the client portfolio to help ensure the strategies are on track to meet the client's goals through all market cycles, providing regular updates through a combination of in-person meetings, email, telephone, or video calls.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Kyle worked at PNC Wealth Management’s family office in Baltimore, MD as an Analyst.  He graduated with honors from Salisbury University’s accredited Perdue School of Business, obtaining a B.S. and double majoring in Economics and Finance with a concentration in Investments.  Kyle is a holder of the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification awarded by the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc. as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation.

Active in the community, Kyle has served on a number of finance committees back home in Ocean City, MD, and is now involved with numerous young professionals groups including the Blueprint for Leadership Group as part of The United Way of the Midlands.
