Laura Pease

Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor

Professional Profile

Laura Pease is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Atlanta, Georgia. She brings more than three decades of extensive experience in trust and investment management to senior corporate executives, successful business owners, multiple generations of wealthy families and family offices. She also works closely with individuals going through divorce and other life transitions.

A former trust officer, Laura focuses on helping clients identify their goals for both lifestyles and legacies. She reminds clients that the lessons of having wealth should be shared with their children. When possible, she offers guidance to “the next generation” on developing thoughtful financial habits. With a deep understanding of what inspires and concerns each client, Laura sets the stage for her team to craft and implement wealth structuring, cash flow planning, customized credit and lending, strategic philanthropy, investment management, and trust and estate planning strategies.

Before joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 1999, Laura served high-net-worth families and institutions at SunTrust Bank, as well as endowments and foundations at Wachovia Bank. She holds a B.A. in international studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also graduated from the Cannon Financial Institute Trust Management School and the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.

Laura holds the Certified Trust and Fiduciary Advisor (CTFA) designation which is sponsored by the ABA Institute of Certified Bankers.

A longtime Atlanta resident, Laura is an active member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and was the 2010-2011 president of the organization. She is also a member of the Georgia Planned Giving Council, past member of the Board of Trustees at her church and was appointed a Board of Visitors member at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
