Laura-Gail Smith is a Vice President and Private Client Associate with Bank of America Private Bank in Washington, D.C. Laura-Gail works closely with high-net-worth individuals and institutions, helping them  pursue their financial goals more efficiently. She works in concert with a team of locally based specialists to design and implement tailored financial strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning, liquidity-event strategies, lending and philanthropy.

Laura-Gail began her tenure at the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2015. Prior to her current role, she served in the Philanthropic Solutions group, where she worked with individuals, families and institutions on matters of mission, governance, impact and legacy. Her previous experience includes private and nonprofit fine art valuation and auction services for Bonhams & Butterfields, a London-based international auction house. Laura-Gail moved to D.C. from New York City in 2012 to join The Phillips Collection, where she created and supervised special projects on behalf of the Director and the Board of Directors. She earned her Master’s degree from Sotheby’s Institute of Art in conjunction with The University of Manchester, U.K., and her Bachelor’s degree in Art from The University of Mississippi.

Laura-Gail is a member of ArtTable; a junior board member of Hope for Henry; a Communications Chair of the D.C. Leadership, Education, Advocacy and Development for Women (L.E.A.D.); and a Contemporary member of The Phillips Collection.
