Marc Perna is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in New York City, New York. Marc co-ordinates the resources of the Private Bank to help clients deploy their wealth more strategically and efficiently. He orchestrates effective collaboration across a client’s Private Bank team, supporting measurable progress toward shared objectives. His tenure and continuity with the firm have heightened his ability to pinpoint appropriate resources enterprise wide. He also works effectively with multiple generations of client families, sensitive to their distinctive interests.

Attuned to the priorities of ultra-high-net-worth clients, Marc helps an accomplished clientele anticipate key decision points, helping them to make informed decisions. Clients look to him for proactive thinking and an ingrained work ethic. Marc also facilitates a multi-disciplinary approach that encompasses investment management, wealth strategy, trust and estate planning services, strategic banking, customized credit, as well as daily liquidity and service needs. Moreover, he fosters close collaboration with a client’s external tax and legal advisors, as appropriate, spearheading clear communication.

Marc has worked at Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) since 2002. He earned his B.A. in finance and management information systems from the University of Rhode Island. He also holds a certificate from the Yale School of Management in investment management theory & practice.  Marc holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in addition to a Sports & Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor™ designee. He also is a CIMA® professional focusing on investment management consulting, and a Retirement Management Advisor® professional. Additionally, Marc is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute™.

Marc has two sons and lives on Long Island. Passionate about land conservation, he volunteers with the Peconic Land Trust and is a member of Ducks Unlimited.
