Marc Freitag

Vice President, Private Client Advisor

Professional Profile

Marc Freitag is a Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Palm Beach, Florida. In addition to having a thoughtful understanding of the needs of real estate owners and investors, and divorcees and widows, Marc draws on his depth of experience to help entrepreneurs untangle the often-complex business succession process. Whether they plan to sell their business or transfer ownership to the next generation, he provides a disciplined approach to guide them in their transition. In addition to helping realize an appropriate valuation for their company, Marc can also help create a customized wealth strategy to meet their post-sale needs.

To aid him in addressing the entirety of clients’ financial lives, Marc draws not only on his own knowledge, but on a dedicated team of specialists with deep experience in wealth structuring, trust and estate planning services, investment management, and philanthropic planning. He also welcomes the opportunity to assist with sophisticated credit and lending solutions for the acquisitions of yachts, personal aircraft, fine art and collectables.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2016, Marc spent 15 years at various financial institutions managing securities and real estate. During this tenure, he served as a relationship manager at an independent investment advisory firm in Coral Gables, sold equity research for Standard & Poor’s, raised real estate capital for commercial class A office buildings in New York City, and was a hedge fund and capital introduction trader at Goldman Sachs.

Marc is a member of the 2019-2020 Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County’s Emerging Leadership Program. He previously served on the boards of The American Cancer Society and the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Marc and his wife have two children and have lived in south Florida since 2009. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing in the western United States.
