Marcellus Upshaw is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in Houston, Texas. Marcellus is a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® (CPWA®) professional and holds the Certified Exit Planning Advisor® (CEPA®) designation. Prior to joining the Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2019, he was a senior client advisor at JPMorgan Chase and the Huntington Private Bank. He played college and semi-professional basketball before starting his private wealth management career.

Marcellus graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in sports industry management and business. He has also completed an Executive Education course at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business for the Certified Private Wealth Advisor® certification. In the community, he volunteers his time and financial resources to organizations that focus on alleviating poverty, children, education, sports and marine conservation.
