Maria Kutscher is a Senior Vice President, Private Client Advisor, Institutional Client Advisor, with Bank of America Private Bank. She provides comprehensive wealth management planning and consultation to high net worth individuals, families and business owners, and also represents Bank of America's suite of Philanthropic consulting and advisory services to nonprofit organizations.

In servicing private clients, Maria facilitates sound decision making in multiple areas, including wealth structuring, estate planning, investments, philanthropy, and customized credit & lending.  Maria also assists nonprofits with strategic consulting in areas such as mission advancement, impact investing, donor development, governance and leadership education. 

Maria draws on more than 25 years of experience in financial services with Bank of America Private Bank and associated firms. Prior to Bank of America Private Bank, Maria served as Regional Director with TIAA’s Private Wealth division. Previous roles include Chief Investment Officer at Pension Advisors, Institutional Investment Consultant at American Century, and Senior Relationship Manager at INVESCO. She began her career at PaineWebber as a Wealth Management Advisor.

Maria received a Master of Business Administration from St. Mary's College and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University, Long Beach. She is a Chartered Financial Analyst® charterholder, a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, and holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor and Accredited Asset Management Specialist designations.

A native of Southern California, Maria is active in a number of philanthropic organizations in the region. She sits on the board of Women Investing in Security and Education (WISE), is a member of the Chapman University Endowment Council, and teaches investment planning at UC Irvine.  Maria lives in Huntington Beach, California with her husband and their two sons.
