Marjorie Thompson is a Senior Vice President and Senior Trust Officer with Bank of America Private Bank. She is responsible for handling the coordination, implementation and management of client’s wealth planning, investment management and fiduciary administrative needs.

Marjorie joined Bank of America Private Bank( formerly U.S. Trust) in October 2012. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank, Marjorie spent 30 years in trust and estate administration with The Bank of New York and later The Bank of New York Mellon. After 2008, she assumed portfolio management duties as well. Prior to joining The Bank of New York, Marjorie did trust and estate work at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Marjorie is a graduate of Michigan State University where she received a BA as a Humanities Pre-Law major. She is also a graduate of the Institute for Paralegal Training, where she studied trusts and estates, and the New York State Banker’s Association Trust and Estate Schools.

Marjorie is also very involved in supporting her community by doing volunteer work for various organizations including Ecclesia Ministries, the 92nd Street Y Teensgiving, Carl Schurz Park, the American Cancer Society, Making Strides against Breast Cancer and the AIDs Walk.
