Marshall McLean is a Managing Director and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank. Based in Florham Park, New Jersey and New York, he serves as a trusted advisor to generations of clients with significant wealth and expectations.

Working alongside a talented group of specialists, Marshall provides tailored banking, lending, estate planning, wealth management and insurance solutions. Mindful of clients’ priorities as their lives evolve, he feels privileged to help successful people satisfy their ambitions for themselves, the people they love and their communities.

Marshall believes that superior wealth management is predicated on an advisor’s ability to appreciate what clients say, and may not say. Each day, he summons his financial and emotional intelligence to help clients articulate what they may have not shared in a previous advisory relationship, or even with a close friend.

Leveraging his years of legal experience and the vast resources of the firm, Marshall offers clients access to a wide range of investment, trust and estate planning solutions, management insights and philanthropic guidance.

Prior to joining Bank of America, Marshall served as a corporate advisor to a diverse clientele at McCarter & English, LLP. He also gained legal experience as an associate in the Princeton and New York City offices of Reed Smith, LLP.*

Marshall earned a J.D. from Washington and Lee University School of Law. While there, he was Lead Article Editor for the Journal of Civil Rights and Social Justice. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College, where he captained the lacrosse team. Marshall resides in Bernardsville, New Jersey, with his wife, Kim, and their three children. In addition to coaching youth hockey and lacrosse, Marshall serves on the boards of the Greater Newark LifeCamp, the Newark Museum, and the Newark Boys & Girls Club.
