Maryam Shah-Hosseini is a Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank in Los Angeles, California. She integrates the advice and guidance of teammates and specialists, who work in concert to uncover possible efficiencies on both sides of a client’s balance sheet. Maryam believes that each client’s wealth framework should be as unique as his or her situation. In addition to traditional wealth disciplines, such as investment management, trust and estate planning, and banking, Maryam is also adept in specialized offerings, including art lending, next-generation stewardship, and liquidity strategies for alternative investment professionals.

Maryam was most recently a Private Client Manager, and joined Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2009 from Bank of America’s Premier Banking and Investments Division, where she was responsible for a portfolio of senior executives of Fortune 1000 companies. Previously she held a variety of positions in retail branch management and business banking at Bank of America for nearly two decades.

Maryam received an M.B.A. degree with an emphasis in international business from California State University Dominguez Hills and a B.S. degree in business administration from San Diego State University. She completed a Capstone Investment Management program at the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business. Since 2001, she has been an adjunct instructor in international business at Los Angeles City College.

A strong believer in community service, Maryam has been a board member of the Pasadena Symphony & Pops since 2016. Previously, she served on the board of People Assisting the Homeless (PATH) for five years. She finds great enjoyment in volunteering, reading, visiting places of natural beauty, and listening to music.
