Mary Martha Pickens is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Manager in the Dallas office for the Bank of America Private Bank. She works closely with high-net-worth clients to help develop tailored wealth management strategies that reflect clients’ personal priorities. Working in concert with a client’s Private Client Advisor and other Bank of America Private Bank specialists, Mary Martha addresses a range of needs: investment management, trust and estate planning services, customized credit and lending, luxury goods acquisition and philanthropy.

Mary Martha leverages the expansive resources of the bank to streamline a client’s financial life, addressing day-to-day issues and long-term initiatives. Mary Martha strives to be closely attuned to the particular family circumstances, preferences and priorities of each client. She is a central hub for client communications, orchestrating coordinated effort across a client’s Bank of America Private Bank team. Mary Martha also spearheads clear communication with a client’s external tax and legal advisors, as appropriate, facilitating a synergy of effort.

Before joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2016, Mary Martha was the regional sales executive for Financial Center Sales and Merrill Edge© at Bank of America. She oversaw five market sales managers who were responsible for financial center sales associates and financial solutions advisors in 66 financial centers in the Dallas area. Previously she served as the regional manager for Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Banking. Mary Martha joined Bank of America as a Premier Banking Investments manager, and managed the Dallas-Fort Worth, North Texas and Oklahoma markets, where she was responsible for driving client acquisition. She has held various positions within Bank of America and has over 29 years' experience in the industry.

Mary Martha has been actively involved in the community through her career. She currently serves on the Executive Committee Board for University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Board of Visitors. She also serves on the boards of the University of Texas Austin College of Education Advisory Council, Children's Medical Center Foundation Board, Jubilee Park and Community Center and Highland Park United Methodist Church Outreach Board, and is an active member of Crystal Charity Ball.

On the personal side, Mary Martha holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Communications from the University of Texas, Austin, and a master’s degree in Education from the University of Houston. She lives in Dallas, Texas, with her husband.
