Matthew Wong, CFP®, CPWA®, CEPA®, is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor at Bank of America Private Bank, in Los Angeles, California. He offers strategic guidance to a select group of high-net-worth clients, including business owners and their families, who lead complex and sophisticated financial lives.

From helping grow a business, to maximizing its value through a sale, Matthew and his team can connect business owners to the resources and capabilities that align with their unique needs. Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2016, Matthew served as a wealth advisor at JPMorgan Chase and Morgan Stanley, where he advised high-net-worth individuals and institutions on their investment and wealth management strategies. During graduate school, Matthew worked at KPMG Consulting and helped advise major financial institutions on their corporate strategy.

Matthew earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of California, Riverside. During his time as an undergraduate, he studied abroad at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Matthew earned his M.B.A. from the University of Southern California. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Certified Private Wealth Advisor® professional, and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor professional. He is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.

Matthew currently serves as the Bank of America Asian Leadership Network Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley Co-Chair and Mentor. Previously, he served as Chair and later Advisor to the Bank of America Asian Leadership Network Leadership Development Program. He is also a board member for the University of Southern California Asian Pacific Young Alumni Association.
