Maureen Zavatone is a Senior Vice President and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Hartford, Connecticut. She works closely with successful individuals, families, and the organizations they support to help simplify their complex and sophisticated financial lives. She takes great satisfaction in her ability to provide a thoughtful, forward-thinking and consultative approach to help design wealth management plans that are in line with clients’ priorities.
Maureen applies her extensive experience and the resources from Bank of America to help clients establish a clear path toward pursing their goals and objectives. She provides clients with access to an array of investment management and private banking strategies, including credit and lending, trust and estate planning services, liquidity events, and philanthropic services.
Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank (formerly U.S. Trust) in 2018, Maureen was a Senior Vice President, Wealth Director at Bank of New York Mellon Wealth Management for 16 years, and a Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley for two years. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Connecticut and her M.B.A. from Northeastern University.
Maureen has served on the boards of Lea’s Foundation for Leukemia Research, the Connecticut Women’s Hall of Fame and the Children’s Law Center of Connecticut. She currently dedicates her free time to the Old Saybrook Cares Foundation and serves on the board of The Katherine Hepburn Cultural Arts Center as well as the Aurora Foundation for Women and Girls.
Maureen and her husband, Stefan, live in Old Saybrook, Connecticut with their two active children, Owen and Paige. She and her family spend their free time boating and enjoying the sights and sounds of coastal Connecticut. She also trains for occasional road races, is a yoga enthusiast and enjoys her large, extended family.
