Professional Profile

Melissa A. Niziolek is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager with Bank of America Private Bank in Providence, Rhode Island. She works closely with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families, constructing customized investment portfolios tailored to help meet their lifestyle needs and estate planning goals.

Since joining the Private Bank in 2005, Melissa has evolved her thoughtful approach to strategy development, tax minimization strategies and contingency planning to help meet the individual needs of clients and their family members. Melissa welcomes in-person interaction and is easy to make conversation with. By getting to know you and your family on a more intimate level, Melissa believes she can facilitate the sensitive discussions often needed to drive meaningful planning for wealth transfer, philanthropic giving and the legacy you wish to leave.

Melissa’s enthusiasm for the markets and risk management is evident when speaking with you about your investments. She welcomes your questions about equity themes, future trends and market behavior, as well as any investment ideas or preferences you might have. She believes the more familiar you are with her thought process, the less you have to concern yourself with following the daily financial news and occasional market volatility.

Melissa earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from Assumption College (now Assumption University) and an MBA from Johnson & Wales University. Prior to joining the Private Bank she had ten years of private and public accounting experience, including five years with KPMG.
